Sports Fishing vessel - Strike Force is the latest S8 to leave the Sailfish factory. Custom built for its new owner to the highest quality the new S8 features an electronics fishing fit out that turns this beauty in to a fishing weapon.
What's on the dash?
Furuno NavNet TZT2 and TimeZero navigation software provides all the navigation duties. The plotter, radar and system full system multi-functionality is performed by a TimeZero with dual Hatteland touch screen high brightness displays.
A Furuno FCV-1150 & DFF-3D make up the sounder package with professionally fitted 2kW 82B-35R and SS175W transducers running through the FCV-1150 (with stabilisation coming from the SC-33 satellite compass). This combination covers off all fishing scenarios from deep dropping to trolling for pelagics. The multi-beam B54 transducer takes care of mapping seafloor, water column targets and everything in between. Interfaced to the TimeZero system the Furuno DFF-3D bathy data is recorded to give this fisherman the most detailed seafloor mapping available outside of a full survey vessel! With compensation for heave , tides and the ability to filter out any unwanted data, it is safe to say that all options have been covered off. Just as well because there's not much space on the dash!
On the hardtop the FURUNO SC-33 satellite compass takes care of heading which is fed into the radar for accurate overlay onto the plotter, the NavPilot 711C for autopilot helming duties and of course stabilization for both the sounders. Under the hardtop, a very happy customer and a very proud boat builder.
